Critter Sketch Blog Hop Challenge

Hi all... Boy are we having a wind storm today!!! It sounds like all the shingles are blowing off the roof as I type this. All the garbage cans are all down at the end of the block... I hope it quits soon.
Critter Sketch Challenge had a really cool Blog Hop yesterday on there site. All you needed to do was go and visit all the participants blogs and leave a comment come back to the Critter Sketch blog and make a card from the sketch. You are then entered into a drawing for a fab prize. Here is my entry:

Hi all, Happy Monday. I hope you all had a good weekend. I didn't do much. I went to the Scrapbooking USA at the expo center in Salt Lake but it was pretty lame this year. I think the economy has hit this industry too. Most of the vendors had things that they have had for the last 3 to 4 years. Nothing new... I did get some nesties and some stamps to stamp on the flower. Way cute!!!
Here is a card I did just for fun. I loved this Dustin Pike image and some of the new paper that I scored for 10 cents a piece. So I made this summer card with it.
The flower is the new nesties and the stamps. Hope you like. Here it is:

Just a little touch of Summer...

Hi all...I hope that your Friday is going well... I just finished up my card that I have been working on today. I did this for the weekly card sketch at Cardmakers. This sketch was created by our sweet Golda. Hop on over and pay a visit to Cardmakers blog and see all the cute cards everyone has created. Here is my entry:


I used some yummy paper, Farm Fresh from October Afternoon. I punched out the borders with my MS punches and distressed them. I love to layer different punches and lots of papers. For my center I punched crepe paper strips with my border punch and then ran it through my crimper. I gathered it up and added the ribbon in the middle. I used some of the left overs to make the corner flower and the main flower. I stamped this darling apron digi and colored it with Copics. It was then added to a label die from Spellbinders. I used glimmer mist to give it a vintage look.

Something new...

Hi all... Have you survived the time change today!!! I am dragging. I did however get two cards finished up that I started over the weekend. This card was so fun to color. I made it vintage looking but I love how it turned out.



Now to go and find some challenges that I can use it in!!!

Balancing Act!!!

I finally got a card finished in plenty of time for Faith's challenge. Last week I barely made the deadline. This is the really cute image that she offered over at Designed2Delight. I love the birdies on top of each other!!!

Hi all... I wanted to post this Watering can that I did for a challenge last week at Cardmakers hosted by Ana. This is really quite easy to make and it would be a fun gift for someone. You could fill it with candy or a gift card and there you have it. I didn't put one of the pieces on mine because I wanted to fill it with grass and flowers.

Joy fold card...

Hi all... I have been busy making cards for the challenges over at cardmakers. The crop was so fun and a success for all the hostess's. I will post some of my entries as soon as I can catch my breath. I still have just a few more to do and I have until midnight tomorrow night to get them done... I did this card for Ashley's challenge. We were to make a joy fold card. I had alot of fun making this and I was surprised at how fast it went together... I used mostly SU paper. (decided that I needed to start using some of it). The image is one that Faith gave away this week for her challenge at Designed2Delight. Isn't it just the cutest birdy image. It is perfect for that cute Birthday card that you are dying to make... Love this image!!!
