A Sketch Challenge

I did this card for the weekly sketch challenge over at Cardmakers. My good friend Terrie created it for us this week and I found it to be really fun to do. I used some cute papers from the new Cosmo Cricket "Material Girl". Love this paper!!! I cut the center strip and used my new MS punch on both sides. I punched the corners with the matching corner punch. I used my nestablities to cut the circles and stamped the top one with my Just Rite stamps then used distress ink on them. The flowers are cut with SU punches out of old sewing pattern paper that I found at a thrift store. The sentiment is from a new set from SU.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Digital Two for Tuesday...recipe book

I am so excited to post the recipe book that I made to be featured on Digital Two For Tuesday. I was chosen by Cora as one of 5 ladies to make a project with her new vintage cookbook images that you can find on her site HERE. You had the choice to make anything you wanted with all the images she gave you so I decided that I would make a cookbook for my daughter. I loved making this!! I used a lot of October Afternoon papers and die cuts from Tim Holtz for Sizzix. My Nesstie's and Copic's of course, buttons, flowers, and punches. I also used distress ink to make the pages look vintage. I then tied it together with tea stained seam binding. I still need to put all the recipe pages in each category before I give it to her.

Stretch N Bubbles for June...

I received some very very cute new digi's for the month of June to do for Alison. They are the new images you can get in her SHOP over at Stretch N Bubbles. Go and check it out and see all the cute new designs she has added. Oh and don't forget about the CHALLENGE blog. It has changed, if you didn't know already, to a progressive challenge. This means that at the first of every month a new digi will be given away for you to create a card with. All you have to do from there is make a card and post it every week and you will receive a new image the next week for free to play in the challenge again. Fun Fun Fun!!!
I hope you like my card and come back again real soon...

Challenges:

Designed 2 Delight

I loved this digi from Faith... I missed out on a few last month so I hopped right back in for June... I just love everything she draws. They are wonderful to color. I decided to use a few different shades of blue for the flowers. Just a change. I had some paper in mind but decided that they just needed to be the main focal point. So just a few shades of cardstock, some ribbon, a charm, and some Basic Gray lace paper. Here is my card:
