Happy Friday my dear friends. I hope you are having a great day!
I have some news to share today with you. I have had to resign from my design team duties at Designed 2 Delight. I have loved working with all the ladies and especially Faith. She is such a sweet person and I will miss doing cards with all her wonderful images. I found myself just needing more time to do some things to make a little money for myself. I couldn't commit 100% to my responsibilities for Faith and the team anymore like I should. So another chapter has opened in my life and I am taking on a new adventure...

~Fabulous Folds Challenge ~

Happy Saturday everyone. I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far. The sun is coming up here and it looks like a beautiful day finally. I hope it warms up today!

Here is my card that I did for the "Fabulous Folds Challenge" at Card Ideas. Every Saturday we have a new challenge for you with prizes to two lucky winners. Stop by and give it a try!!!

I chose to do a double flap card. I found this pattern at Dawn's Stamping Thoughts. It is quite easy to make and I love the idea of the flaps on the front.

~ Princess Wishes ~

Well I am not feeling to great today and forgot to get this posted... I did this card for a friends daughter of mine. I love this cute image from Faith at Designed 2 Delight. If you want to pick this cutie up just pay her shop a visit HERE.

The inside:

I had done this for a challenge at CardMakers but I didn't get a chance to enter it. We were to make a Gate fold card. I really liked doing this...it was a change from just the traditional cards that I am always doing.

I made the flower with my new punches from Mc Gill. They are very fun and easy to use to make 3D flowers. Love them!!! I added a small Prima and a brad to give it color and some glitter to give it some sparkle.

"Images the Designers Love" Valentine Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the Designed 2 Delight Valentine Blog Hop. If you came from Pats blog then your on the right path, if not then start at the first so you don't miss a thing. We are just one month away from Valentine's Day and Faith has lots of new and of course darling older images for sale now in the Store. Here is a link to the Valentine category.
I chose one of the older images from Faith, "Winter Friends" it's not in the Valentine catagory but I found it to be so full of love that I had to use it... We have dear in our yard all the time and they look in the windows with there big brown eyes. I just love to watch them.

Love EWE!!!

Hi... glad to get back to the blogging world again. I haven't posted to my blog for a few weeks now. It has been so cold up here and we have had so much snow that the Internet and the phone lines have been all messed up! They were up here today working on them and hopefully they have the problem fixed.

I have done a few cards this week for Designed 2 Delight. The one I am posting today is the freebie for this week at the progressive challenge that Faith has every Friday. You need to start at the first of the month to get the first one free (by the way its this one) and then post a card by the next Friday and you will receive the next weeks free. This digital cutie is called "Love Ewe". Faith has really been busy with some cute images so go and pay a visit to here shop and see all the new things that are available...

I used lots of glitter on the Sheep, heart, butterfly, and flower. It doesn't show well in photo's but I love the effect it gives things. The paper is from Stampin Up from a few years ago. (Using my stash up :). I cut the image with a circle nestie and sponged the edges with SU ink and used a lace doily on the bottom. The trim is from Fancy Pants and a local fabric store. The butterfly and flower are made with my new punches from Mc Gill. They have some awesome ones to make 3 dimmesional flowers with. So Cute!!!!

BRRRRR!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I hope you are all enjoying your day today... We have been snowed in for a few days now. We have about 4 feet of snow and below zero temps today. It's soooo cold.
So guess what is going on over at the Card Ideas blog??? A new challenge that will be going every week on Saturday's. Guess what Debbie has chosen for the theme for the first challenge... "Baby It's Cold Outside". You need to use one of Faith's older snowman images to play along... So if you have Primative Snow Angel, Snow Angel, or Stitched Snowman then your set. I used the cute "Stitched Snowman" image for my card. Isn't it just cute!

I used alot of things from my stash... I am trying this year to use up some of the papers that I have. So the polka dots are from Daisy Dee, the Brrr is one of my old Sizzix dies from years ago. The hearts are Nestabilities, the snowflake is MS. bakers twin is MS. Colored with Tria and Copics.
