Tutorial Time at Speedy TV #17~ Flap Card

Happy Friday!!! It's time for another Tutorial. This week our team member Kathy Bradley is showing us how to make a flap card. This is a really fun and fast card to make. I hope you will stop by Tutorial Time on Speedy TV and check it out.
Here is my card...

I used this fun set"Celebrate Big"by Mark's Finest Papers to make my card. I paper pieced the cupcake and crimped it, pieced the chef hat, and his scarf. I added ribbon tags below the "Happy

Birthday" and used the same ribbon for the top.

Remeber if you do a card using this tutorial and post it on Tutorial Time you will be entered into a drawing to win a cute stamp set seen below... If you use stamps from Marks Finest Papers & Stamps a Heinrich Co. you will be entered into the drawing twice.

We are now on day 3 of our 4 day blog hop! It's been so fun doing my first hop with this wonderful company and group of ladies. Today we are featuring this cute stamp set " Autumn Splendor".

I loved working with this set!!! The images are so crisp and clean. I really love the sentiments too.

I made this tag with the cute pumpkin image, added a doily behind the top tag, some fun lace,crunchy seam binding,a small snippet of feather, and a die cut autumn leave.

My second project is below...

For my card I embossed and distressed the background paper. I colored the images with copics and cut them out, layered the leaves on burlap,added some fall ribbon, and the Autumn - Acorn sentiment.

This next stamp set is the September sneak peak "Holly Jolly Greetings".

Isn't it just the sweetest set! What fun it was to make cards with the cute Santa and Snowman. I love the sentiments too.

I was so excited to get my stamps. This is my first month of being on the Senior Design Team and also participating in the September Blog Hop. The stamps and blog hop were a little delayed due to a manufacturer problem but wow are they ever cute!!!
