Happy Friday!!!
This week we have a really fun Tutorial for you to try using " Plant Materials" being brought to you by our DT member Davi. You can find out how to do this at Tutorial Time on Speedy TV.
This was a fun one to try. I didn't have much in the way of flowers to chose from as I live in the mountains of Utah and all the flowers are great food for the deer!!! I did find some yellow tops of the Sagebrush so I tried this technique with these...
I used the stamp set from Mark's Finest Paper's a Heinrich Co. "Bring on the Sunshine". I colored it with my Copics, added a bit of ribbon, a frame from Spellbinders, and added a stick pin as an accent.
I hope you can find time to stop by Tutorial Time and give this challenge a try.
Lots of Hugs,
Jane
Jane, I love your card, I am amazed at how the natural dyes in plants turn out when smashed for this technique...I love it!

Jane,
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card! Your addition of the pretty sunflower (colored wonderfully) and the lovely stick pin all add to the beauty of your card!
