Tutorial Time on Speedy TV. #45

Happy Friday and welcome to our tutorial this week brought to you by our talented design team member Katie.   She will be showing you how to make a "Stand Up Z Fold Card".  This was a really fun card to make and I hope you will give it a try....

 Here is my card

 

I made this card as a tribute to my sweet "Gentle Giant" that we had to put down two weeks ago.  I miss him so much...  We had him for 12 years and he was our sweet boy.  His name was "Starbuck".  We gave him this name when we got him because he looked just like a little dark coffee bean.  His bone was his favorite thing so I found it fitting to add this to my card.

I love you Starbuck

Here is my first card done with this cute set...

This set is so cute and has so many fun elements to work with.  I chose the tree with birds and just a sweet little bird to adorn my card!  Love all the sentiments too.

 

My second card is done in some cute birdie spring paper.  I though it went well with the birds.

Today we are showcasing "Honor and Glory"

This is a very versatile set that can be used for lots of different themes.  I chose to use the Dragon and the Castle on my two cards.

I used 4 different embossing folders to create this card and added gold shimmer paper to separate them.  I embossed the castle and the sentiment with gold embossing powder and the last touch was three gold brads...

For this card I used a circle theme.  I found this Basic Gray paper from years ago and added it to the background.  I circle punched black cardstock and embossed the green to make the trim for the gold embossed Dragon.  Added two of the sentiments, and a little twill tape.

Today we are showcasing this cute set. 

 "Be a Showoff"

                                              This is what I created with this beautiful set...

I stamped and embossed the Peacock and sentiment with white embossing powder, added some satin black ribbon, punched a fun border and added some pink jewels.

 

On this card I stamped the pretty Peacock and feathers with SU ink added them in front of gold shimmer paper, embossed the background, added sequins, and ribbon.

MFP Sneak Peak  

Hi all, it's time for our sneak peak just before the Hop tomorrow...  We have a darling 5th set, "Zoo Friends" with lots of cute animals and sentiments.  I love these sweet images and I know you will too.
