The special stamp set we have for you this month is:
"Zoo Friends"
The mini stamp set we have for you this month is
"You May Bow"
Today we are showcasing "Honor and Glory"
This is a very versatile set that can be used for lots of different themes. I chose to use the Dragon and the Castle on my two cards.
I used 4 different embossing folders to create this card and added gold shimmer paper to separate them. I embossed the castle and the sentiment with gold embossing powder and the last touch was three gold brads...
For this card I used a circle theme. I found this Basic Gray paper from years ago and added it to the background. I circle punched black cardstock and embossed the green to make the trim for the gold embossed Dragon. Added two of the sentiments, and a little twill tape.
Well we are at day three of the hop and I hope you have paid the team a visit this week. They are all so talented and have so much to show you. Be sure to check back tomorrow for our last day.
Hugs
Wow!!! Love all the textures and cool design on your first one! A wonderful modern art feel to it. Your second is such FUN!!! Wonderful idea to use the bubble EF and I love the circles out of the black CS! So cool!

Two fabulous creations...I find it interesting that the card I did, Lois did and yours all have the banner like sentiment...in the same place! Your dragon get well is dang adorable with the ef!
ReplyDeleteOh ya I love the both and that embossing is so perfect. Just amazing. TFS AJ-
ReplyDeleteLove the background technique on that first card. It looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards. I love how you did the background on your first card.
ReplyDeleteLove those bright colours on your first card - Lego bricks was my immediate thought! Building a Lego castle would be quite fun!
ReplyDeleteFirst word out of my mouth when I saw the castle card "Cute!" Love the embossing folders and the design of them. Then I saw your second card-"Super cute!" I love that embossing folder with the dragon. That old BG paper is perfect background. Fun cards. Thank you for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI really like what you have done here! The color blocking is so cool! Your dragon card is great with the circle theme running through it. The forked banner reminds me of lizard tongues and perhaps a dragon tongue :)
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the embossing on both cards! The color blocking on the first looks so nice and the the green embossed paper behind the dragon looks great!
