Today we are showcasing this beautiful set "Umbrellas and Fans"
This is my favorite set being released this month. All the images are so pretty and the sentiments are perfect.
Here are my creations...
For my first card I stamped and embossed the umbrella onto velum and applied color on the back with my copic marker. I then cut it out. Jewels are added to the bottom of the handle and the top. I loved this paper and I just wanted it to accent the umbrella so I cut the additional layer and added it to the top of the card. The bottom edge was punched with a Martha Stewart Punch. The umbrella sentiment is stamped and two more jewels are added to the sides.
My second card
I decided to do a vintage type theme with the fan image. I stamped and cut the fan out and ran it through my crimper to give it a fan look. I layered papers from Graphic 45 and a die cut doily. Under the doily is crimped distressed cardboard. I topped it of with a sparkly brad and a black feather.
I hope you are enjoying the hop this week. Be sure to keep hopping. Your next stop is Thrifty.
