101 Ways and Counting Column 02/24/14

Hi and welcome to my column 101 Ways and Counting.
Today I am showing you a card I made, clean and simple with a touch of watercolor.  Water coloring is becoming more popular in the card making world.  I love the bit of texture it adds to cards.  I added some sequins to give it just a little bling.  Here is my card...
I used the single poppy flower in the set by Mark's Finest Papers "Welcome Poppies".  I stamped, cut the image out and stamped and cut another flower out.  I added pop dots to raise it up a little.  The bottom petal was also stamped, cut, and popped.  A little bakers twine and a embossing folder behind the main panel and there you have it....
I hope you have found some inspiration.  Thanks for stopping by...  Be sure to stop by Friday for my "Themes from the Orient column.
Hugs, Jane
