Mark's Finest Papers Blog Hop Day #1

Hi Everyone,

Today is the start of the Blog Hop at Mark's Finest Papers. 

This week being featured is Paper Doll's.

This is a really fun collection to make cards, projects or just to play with. 

I am not participating this week as we have split the hop into two weeks.

I will be in the hop next Tuesday the 14th when we feature the other three sets.

I do have a  card to share today and also Wednesday and Thursday. 

Here is my card done with the first set.

I decided to make a Valentine.  I used several sets from Mark's Finest Papers for the sentiments.

101 Ways and Counting Column on Speedy TV.

Happy Monday Morning!

It's time for my weekly column on Speedy TV.  I did a fun card for Valentines day with some cute papers and a new stamp set being released next week at the second part of the January Blog Hop for Mark's Finest Papers a HRC.  Here is what I created...

Aren't the mice just the cutest???

I used papers from the Authentique Collection.  I cut open one of the pockets and placed the mouse inside.  Brads are added to all the pockets and a heart border trim and stamp hearts finished it off.

Tutorial Time on Speedy TV #82

Hi all,
I hope your new years was a great one.  Happy NEW Year !!!  We have lots of great things going on in 2014 at Speedy TV so be sure to stop by often.
This week our tutorial is brought to you by Pat   She is showing us how to do a "V Fold" card
This was a fun technique and a pretty result.  At first I thought " No Way" but it really was easy. You can find the tutorial HERE.

Here is my card

I decided to add a boarder to the top, I stamped images of flowers around all the layers.  I chose one of the butterfly images from Mark's Finest and stamped, embossed, cute it out and added it on top of a layered die cut heart. I added it to the banner (that's hard to see) and there is my V Fold card!
Stamps used are all from Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps a HRC.

Paper Doll Madness

We are previewing this cute set being released this month on our blog hop.  Here is my first example of what you can do with this set.

My project is a Birthday card with a fold out that is tucked inside an envelope that I made to hold all the pieces.  I made this so the recipient can pull the panels off and cut and color them.  In a pocket located on the back of the envelope are some fun embellishments to add to all the clothes and dolls. 

There are so many different things you can do with this set.  Be sure to stop by for the next 18 days and see everyone's ideas.

My first post for 2014

Just wanted to share a card I did with some fun new paper I received for Christmas.  I am loving all the new paper lines with eye wear!!! Sooo cute!!!  Here is my card.

I did this card for a challenge at ScrapZee hosted by Golda.  The challenge was to use old and new products.  The paper was new along with the die and stamp sets from Hero Arts.  The brad roses are old.
