WELCOME!! to my blog... If you have just come from Ivanka's blog you are hopping right along. She has just recently join us at CardSwaps and wow is she ever an inspiration and a very creative card maker... I hope you enjoyed visiting her. If you haven't arrived from there you can hop on over to Lora's blog and start at the beginning. You won't want to miss any of the amazing blogs on our hop.
This is your last stop on the Autumn Blessings Blog Hop. It goes along with the Autumn Blessings Crop at CardSwaps. The crop is from November 16-19, 2011 and you have until November 22, 2011 to get your projects posted to the challenge threads and in the drawings for prizes. It's a lot of fun. We hope to see you there!
This blog hop has a theme. The theme is: I have been blessed! I have been blessed with good health (except just the getting old thing). I have a wonderful loving caring husband of 32 years who is my very best friend, we have three beautiful daughters that we adore. We also have been blessed with 3 great son in laws and 5 grandsons that are the love of our life. I could go on and on forever how much I am blessed, but these are the very most important blessings to me.
My project for the hop today is a gift bag and tag to hold the hot pads and dish clothes I have been working on for my daughters for Christmas. They love handmade so I decided to crochet these for them.
Here is a photo of the hot pads and dish cloth and below is the bag and tag I made to hold them...
I hope you will come and join us in our crop at CardSwaps. It will be lots of fun and you will be inspired by all of our ladies creations. Don't miss out on the fun themes and really great prizes!!! I hope to see you there.

Those are to cute! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!! THat is an incredible gift bag. I bet the gifts under your tree are prettier than anything I have seen. I would love to just sit and stare at that bag all day with my mind swirling with what could possibly be inside...and then to find handmade gifts that are made with love... wow... gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty gift bag Jane. I really like the hot pads and dishcloth too. My first love is crocheting. Growing up there wasn't a hot pad or dishcloth in the house that wasn't crocheted by either me, my mother or my great aunt. We also crocheted a nice pretty trim on all the pillow cases in the house. Ahhhh....those were the good ole days.
ReplyDeleteJane, Jane, Jane! I read your post and scrolled down slowly, wanting to prolong the anticipation - and then -- BAM! Sit down and shut up - Your gift bag & tag flat out amazed me. I love your crochet project too.
ReplyDeleteJane, you are such a blessing on Card Swaps. Your projects make my eyes go gah-gah with delight. You are such a creative muse. Thank you.
Blessings
Teresa

ReplyDeleteYou really do wonderful cards and you are a special person...
Hot pads, dish cloth and bag are all beautiful!! Can you recommend a site for crochet patterns? I think one day I would like to be able to make hot pads and dish cloths. You sound like a really loving mama. :-)
ReplyDeleteJane your gift bag is gorgeous and I love the items you made to go in it. You are so talented. I always love looking at your work. I happy to be getting to know you!
ReplyDeleteJane, you are one amazing lady! Everything you do is filled with love. Your bag and tag are fantastic, and the dishcloths and hot pads are great. Your daughters will love them, even if they happen to see them on here, first. Thank you for sharing your family with us.
ReplyDeleteOh, Jane. As usual you are not plain! I love the pot holders and wash cloths AND the bag you created to put them in. Since you moved onto the mountain, you have become even more creative. Your blog is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful, Jane, just like everything you touch. Thanks again for the lovely surprise package I received in the mail today. I mentioned you and linked to your blog in my post today at http://tickellexpressions.blogspot.com/2011/12/early-christmas.html
